What We Offer

Employment Support
Getting back to work is frequently the first real test residents face in recovery. We provide hands-on support with the job search (resumes, interview prep) along with daily accountability that helps turn a search into an actual offer.

Life and Recovery Skills
Staying sober is easier when the rest of life feels steady. Daily structure, shared house responsibilities, and peer accountability help residents build practical habits like budgeting and follow-through that early recovery relies on.

12-Step Programming
12-Step principles are woven into how our houses function. Residents get support attending meetings, finding sponsorship, and living out those principles daily, not just during meetings.

One-on-One Mentoring
Residents also get dedicated one-on-one time with a mentor to talk through what's really going on underneath the daily routine, not just whether house rules are being followed.

Money Management
Financial stress quietly derails a lot of people in early recovery. Residents learn the basics: budgeting, saving, and money habits meant to last beyond their time in the house.

Family Services
Recovery doesn't happen separately from family. We help families understand what genuine support looks like right now, and how to stay close without becoming overbearing.

Medication Monitoring
Residents managing medications get help staying on track: keeping schedules consistent and staying connected with their clinicians so treatment continues uninterrupted.

Life in Our Sober Living Homes
Life at Design for Recovery blends structure with independence. Residents continue working, attending school, participating in outpatient care, and pursuing personal goals while developing routines that support lasting recovery.
Each day includes recovery meetings, shared responsibilities, mentorship, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with peers who understand the challenges of early sobriety.

Our Admissions Process
Getting in Touch
We start by listening to you, or to whoever's calling on someone else's behalf, to understand where things stand and what kind of support would genuinely help.
Working Through the Details
We'll go over cost, what's included, and logistics, so there are no surprises before move-in. From there, it's about identifying what actually matters most, whether that's job support, daily accountability, or meeting-based structure.
The Move-In Process
Once it's confirmed as a fit, we'll cover what move-in day looks like: housemates, a full walkthrough, and expectations set clearly. Most residents feel settled within their first few days.
In Their Own Words
Alumni share what changed for them during their time with Design for Recovery.
