What We Offer

Employment Support
Returning to steady work often marks the first visible sign of progress in recovery. We help residents with resumes, interview prep, and the job search itself, paired with daily accountability that keeps things moving.

Life and Recovery Skills
Sobriety holds up better when the rest of life feels steady. Through daily structure and peer accountability, residents build habits like budgeting and follow-through that early recovery relies on.

12-Step Programming
Our houses are built around 12-Step principles. Residents get real support finding a sponsor, attending meetings, and living out those values daily, not just at meetings.

One-on-One Mentoring
Beyond house structure, each resident also receives one-on-one mentor time to address what's actually happening beneath the daily routine, not just rule compliance.

Money Management
Money stress is one of the quieter reasons people fall off track. Residents learn practical skills here: budgeting, saving, and habits designed to last beyond their time in the house.

Family Services
Recovery doesn't happen apart from family. We help loved ones understand what genuine support looks like right now, and how to stay involved without hovering.

Medication Monitoring
For residents on medication, consistency matters. We help keep schedules on track and maintain the connection to prescribing clinicians.

Life in Our Sober Living Homes
Life inside our homes is built around consistency rather than perfection. Residents learn how to navigate everyday responsibilities while sharing a living environment with others who are equally committed to recovery.
A typical week may include work, outpatient treatment, recovery meetings, exercise, shared meals, household responsibilities, and time to reconnect with hobbies or personal interests. These everyday experiences help build the confidence needed for life after sober living.

Our Approach to Admissions
Opening the Door
Everything starts with understanding where things stand, whether you're reaching out for yourself or someone else. Our team will talk through what kind of structure and support would genuinely help.
Working Through Logistics
From there, we cover cost, what's included, and logistics up front, so nothing about move-in is a surprise. We work together to identify what matters most: job support, daily accountability, or meeting-based structure.
Your First Days Here
Once it's confirmed as a fit, we walk through what move-in day looks like: meeting housemates, a full tour, expectations laid out clearly. Most residents settle in within their first few days.
In Their Own Words
Alumni share what changed for them during their time with Design for Recovery.

Recovery Is Built Through Everyday Progress
Meaningful change rarely happens all at once. Recovery grows through the small decisions you make every day, creating momentum that leads to lasting personal growth and greater independence.
Build Healthy Habits
Replace unhealthy routines with consistent daily practices that support your physical health, emotional well-being, and long-term goals.
Stay Accountable
Regular encouragement from peers and mentors helps create a sense of responsibility while reminding you that you don't have to navigate recovery alone.
Prepare for Independent Living
Gain experience managing everyday responsibilities in a structured setting before transitioning back to living on your own.
Strengthen Your Support Network
Develop relationships with people who encourage your progress and provide support long after you've completed sober living.
